PACK & SEND launches specialist courier service in Liverpool

PACK & SEND has opened a new service centre in Liverpool, bringing specialist courier, packing and shipping support to local businesses and residents who need to send fragile, valuable, large or unusual items across the UK and worldwide.
The new Liverpool centre is led by PACK & SEND franchise partner Matthew France, whose background combines international business ownership with hands-on parcel sector experience. Before launching the business in Liverpool, Matthew spent more than two decades in France, where he built and ran a bar in Val-d’Isère. After returning to the UK, he developed further logistics knowledge while working in Royal Mail’s parcel department.
That mix of business experience and shipping expertise made PACK & SEND a natural fit. The brand is known for helping customers move items that standard courier services can struggle to handle, including artworks, antiques, electronics, manufacturing components, medical equipment and musical instruments.
For customers in Liverpool, that means access to a courier service designed around care, protection and flexibility. Rather than focusing only on standard parcel delivery, PACK & SEND supports shipments that need professional packing, tailored handling and reliable transport arrangements. This is especially valuable for local artists, antique dealers, collectors, ecommerce businesses and companies shipping sensitive or high-value goods.
“What attracted me to PACK & SEND was the opportunity to move into a service-led business with strong demand and real variety from one day to the next. In the shipping and courier market, it fills an important niche, specialising in handling items of any size, value, or fragility with precision and care.”
He added:
“From delicate artworks to large machinery, we ensure items are securely packaged and safely transported to destinations worldwide. We also help people when they are, for instance, relocating overseas, or sending exotic gifts.”
The opening strengthens PACK & SEND’s presence in the North West and gives the Liverpool city region access to a broader range of courier and shipping solutions. In addition to specialist packing and international shipping, the business supports customers with postal, freight, courier and removal services, helping with everything from one-off personal shipments to regular business dispatches.
Across the wider network, PACK & SEND has experience handling artworks by internationally recognised names including Banksy, Damien Hirst, Andy Warhol, Tracey Emin and Jeff Koons, and is also an approved service provider to LAPADA, the UK’s largest association of professional art and antiques dealers. This gives the Liverpool centre strong credentials in areas such as art shipping, antique shipping and fragile item delivery.
Matthew believes the timing is right for the business in the city. With ecommerce continuing to grow and Liverpool offering a strong mix of culture, commerce and independent enterprise, the new centre is well positioned to support both consumers and companies across the region.
“With ecommerce continuing to grow, it felt like the right time to make the move, and Liverpool felt like the right place to do it. It’s an amazing place with such fantastic culture and music, and a vibrancy you don’t find anywhere else. It is exciting to start a new chapter here and to build a business serving both local people and companies across the Liverpool city region and surrounding areas.”
For Liverpool customers looking for a courier service that goes beyond standard parcel delivery, PACK & SEND offers a specialist option for items that need extra care, from fragile artwork and antiques to large, awkward and valuable consignments.
