Charlie Godwin

Charlie Godwin is one of the co-owners of PACK & SEND Guildford, and his route into franchise ownership was practical, straightforward, and built on real-world experience.

After leaving school, Charlie spent a year working in estate agency, gaining early exposure to customer-facing sales. He then worked for more than three years as a postman, a role that gave him a strong understanding of logistics, reliability, and working directly with the public.

Building Confidence Through a Proven System

Charlie’s first step into the PACK & SEND network came in 2022, when he and his co-owners purchased the Camberley franchise.

In 2023, they expanded by acquiring a second service centre in Guildford. Eventually, they sold Camberley in order to focus fully on developing Guildford as their long-term base.

For Charlie, the appeal of franchising was clear:

“Starting a business from scratch didn’t feel right for me. I’m not the most creative person. Having the systems in place was a really great thing.”
